Waypoint Navigator
Costa del Sol pilot clients now being reviewed

When Spanish admin, healthcare, or insurance gets stuck, Navigator gives the problem an owner.

Waypoint Navigator is bilingual follow-through for Costa del Sol residents: route the issue, make the Spanish calls, organize the documents, book or chase appointments, and go with you when the situation needs in-person support.

No subscription and nothing to sign up for. Tell us what is stuck and we point you at the right person, or we take it on ourselves.

The moments we handle

Navigator is for the point where “I’ll figure it out” stops working.

These are the moments where people lose time because the problem is split across portals, offices, documents, phone calls, and appointments.

Healthcare route unclear

You have public, private, insurer, broker, or clinic options and do not know which route gets care fastest.

Spanish phone call required

The next step depends on a call you cannot confidently make or a question you do not know how to ask.

Portal notice or deadline risk

A Sede notification, certificate issue, or official message may have a clock running.

Rejected file or missing document

A residency, TIE, claim, or appointment process failed on a technicality and needs rebuilding.

Insurer or office loop

Everyone points somewhere else and nobody is taking responsibility for the next step.

Appointment in Spanish

You need help preparing, understanding what happened, and leaving with clear follow-up.

“After nine years I had a system: figure it out, ask the gestor, ring a Spanish-speaking friend, hope it landed. With Navigator, I was able to replace all three steps with one. I do not have to decide whether the problem belongs to the gestor, the doctor, or the ayuntamiento before I can even start. They sort the routing. I just start.”

Patricia, retiree, Mijas
What Navigator actually does

The value is coordinated follow-through, not just advice.

Advice tells you what might be true. Navigator helps move the actual issue forward.

Case summary

Capture what happened, what you tried, who is involved, and what result you need.

Route check

Identify whether the next step belongs with healthcare, insurer, broker, town hall, gestor, Sede, or another office.

Calls and bookings

Make Spanish calls, chase appointments, clarify requirements, and prepare what needs to be asked.

Follow-up tracking

Keep the thread together so every new call or appointment does not restart the story.

“I thought it would feel like ringing a help line. It is closer to having someone on your team who already knows your file. I send a photograph of whatever landed in the post that morning, and by the afternoon I know whether it is urgent, what it costs, and who is going to handle it.”

Helen, early retiree, Estepona
When someone needs to be in the room

Some problems cannot be solved from a distance.

For medical, residency, notary, gestor, or high-stakes admin appointments, a bilingual navigator can help you prepare, attend when needed, translate the key parts, take notes, and turn the visit into next steps.

This is one part of Navigator, not the whole service. Many issues are handled remotely through calls, documents, and coordination.

Before

Clarify the goal, gather papers, prepare questions, and identify what needs to be asked in Spanish.

During

Translate what matters, keep the conversation on the issue, and capture instructions, papers, and decisions.

After

Summarize what happened in English, organize the follow-up, and track the next action.

“I run a small company from here and I am used to paying for professional services. Navigator is the first one in Spain where the work happens between meetings, not in them. I message at 9am, I get an answer by 11, and the appointment is on my calendar by 2. The gestor is still the gestor. Navigator is the layer that makes sure the gestor actually does the thing.”

Proof from stuck moments

Good support changes the next step.

“We had Adeslas, a tarjeta sanitaria, and still did not know which route would get our daughter seen fastest. The cita was booked in the right system and we were in the consultation eleven days later.”

Hannah, family of four, Mijas

“A Sede notification had been sitting there for three weeks. Navigator opened it and found I had eight days left.”

Sarah, Marbella

“My TIE renewal was rejected on a technicality. The second appointment went through because the file was rebuilt properly.”

Mark, Algarrobo

“The insurer said broker, the broker said insurer. Navigator found the form, gathered what they would accept, and refiled.”

James, La Cala de Mijas

“I had years of property tax I had not kept on top of and was dreading what it would cost me. I signed a power of attorney so Navigator could deal with it directly. They got me into the system and started clearing the arrears with the authorities. It has stopped being the thing hanging over me.”

Roger, Nerja

“We used to come for the winters and treat Spain as an away game. After signing up for Navigator, we started sending small things over: the water bill we could not read, the Sede Electrónica notification that turned out to be about the dog, the bank letter that looked threatening and was not. Six months in, we realised we were no longer guessing about anything.”

What it costs

Two ways in, and one of them is free.

Navigator is not a subscription. Tell us what is stuck and we will either point you at a bilingual navigator on the coast who handles that kind of thing, or take it on ourselves in prepaid blocks of time. You choose which.

We point you at someone

Free

You deal with them directly, on their terms and their rates.

  • Tell us what is stuck
  • We say who on the coast does that well
  • We explain the likely first step
  • You take it from there, and owe us nothing

Scope stays honest

Some cases need more than normal coordination.

  • Urgent same-day help
  • Long in-person appointments
  • Complex legal or medical situations
  • Anything outside practical support

Blocks are €30 an hour with an estimate before we start. If a case needs unusual in-person time, urgency, or specialist help, we tell you before you commit. If someone else on the coast is simply better placed than we are, we say so and point you there instead.

Boundaries

Practical support, not false comfort.

Not legal advice

If you need a lawyer, you need a lawyer.

Not medical advice

We do not diagnose, prescribe, or make clinical decisions.

Not emergency cover

If it is urgent, call emergency services first.

Not a guarantee

We help with Spanish, process, documents, appointments, calls, notes, and follow-up.

Already mid-crisis?

Tell us what is stuck.

If something is stuck right now, send it in plain English. We will reply with whether this is one we should take on, or the name of someone better placed to do it.

This is the only way in. There is nothing to buy first.
